MD. SAZZAD HOSSAIN, is emerging and promising young photographer. He is best known for his evocative color photography. In the finest documentary tradition, he captures the essence of human struggle and joy.
Born in Dhaka, He graduated from a Law school and taking another graduation on photography from South Asian media academy (Pathshala).He worked for prominent newspapers of Bangladesh and still working for “The Daily Samakal”. His work has been featured in numerous major magazines and Daily newspapers in Bangladesh.Though he is working for newspaper but he loves to work freelance.
He has covered many areas of national news and created very provoking stories, among those Nights around the Parliament,Life in Geneva Camp and LOST IN MY LIFE projects are most mentionable.
He is very passionate about photojournalism and Documentary photography but He also loves to take wedding photos, According to SAZZAD wedding photographs are not only photographs ”This is wedding photojournalism”
SAZZAD had participated various international workshops conducted by prominent professionals Morten Krogvold in 2010, ChobiMela, BjerkelyFolkehøgskole, Norway in 2012,International Reportage workshop by Philip Blenkinsop& Max Pam at Cairo, Egypt in collaboration with Pathshala- Bangladesh, Oslo University College- Norway & Contemporary Image Collective, Egypt in 2013.
